Professor Wei Wang is an expert in the field of infectious diseases and tropical medicine. His research interests focus on, but no limited to emerging and reemerging infectious diseases, neglected tropical diseases, and drug resistance. He has received more than 30 international and national grants, and was awarded by Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government, Gansu Provincial People’s Government and Chinese Preventive Medicine Association. Dr. Wang is now member of Medical Parasitology Branch of Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, Tropical Diseases Branch of Chinese Endemic Diseases Association, Zoonosis Branch of Chinese Society of Microbiology, et al. Currently, Dr. Wang is the Managing Editor of Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control, and is on the editorial board of Infectious Diseases of Poverty, Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Biomedicine, Journal of Infectious Diseases & Preventive Medicine, International Journal of Drug Research and Technology, Global Health Journal, et al. Prof. Wang has published more than 120 papers in international and national peer-reviewed journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, The Lancet Infectious Diseases, The Journal of Infectious Diseases.
