It is in general a well-written manuscript.
Nevertheless, there are a few limitations such as the use of ICDs for the detection of the patients/controls, the lack of control for other classic cardiovascular risk factors (ex. family history of CVD, exercise) and other personal characteristics (ex. income, educational status, alcohol consumption, other sources of social support, employment status etc).
Moreover, a separate sub-analysis of the impact of certain psychiatric disorders on TTS would be of interest, is possible.
