Figure 1 Comparison of lower limb circumference changes between two groups.
A: Presents thigh circumference 10 cm above the patella; B: Shows calf circumference 10 cm below the patella. Measurements were taken preoperatively and on postoperative days 3, 7, and 14. The purple line represents the control group and the blue line represents the observation group. results show that the control group had significant increases in lower limb circumference postoperatively, while the observation group demonstrated relatively stable changes with significantly smaller increases, suggesting that early mobilization combined with intermittent pneumatic compression may effectively reduce postoperative lower limb swelling and decrease deep vein thrombosis risk. POD: Postoperative day.
