This concept of publishing comments on recent journal publications aims to increase visibility and transparency and to enrich the literature with scientific discussion. The use of AI in medicine is rapidly growing, linking current practice with up-to-date technology. However, we still have to work more to ensure that AI contributes to knowledge in a transparent and scientific manner. This topic addresses diabetes mellitus and cardiovascular disease, which are common but harmful companions that need further investigation.
